Early Childhood Care Education and Administration Course (Hybrid / Online)

This Course is available in two formats :

  • Face to Face (with access to online materials) called Hybrid
  • Online (completely online)

  1. Programme Overview
    The Early Childhood Care, Education and Administration Course is designed to prepare learners to work with children between birth to eight years. The Early Childhood Care and Education course aims to provide theoretical knowledge and an understanding of principles of early childhood education, based on child development. This course enables the learners to acquire attitudes and skills to work with children from 0-8 years using play way methods. This course will equip learners to organize, plan and administer preschool programs and work effectively with parents and the community.
  2. What are the entry requirements?
    Learners should be at least 18 years old and have passed the 12th Exam (Hybrid/ Online)
  3. How long does it take to complete the course?
    • Hybrid - It is a one year programme
    • Online - Self-Paced
  4. How is it assessed?
    Students will be assessed on their individual work for every module in the programme through tests and submissions of different projects (Hybrid/ Online).
  5. Diploma
    On completion of the Programme, the learner will be awarded a Diploma certificate in Early Childhood Care, Education and Administration by Podar Institute of Education.
  6. Is internship compulsory for this course?
    • Hybrid - 4 hours, 5 days a week (600 hours)
    • Online - Not Compulsory
  7. What if a learner is already working as an early year teacher?
    Then, the learner’s working hours will be considered as internship hours (Hybrid).
  8. What about job placement?
    • Hybrid - On campus interviews with IB and well known schools to help learners get appointed
    • Online - Vacancy details are shared with the learners
